SECURITY PRESENCE AT THE LOFTS AT NOHO COMMONS

PETITION FOR A 24-HOUR SECURITY PRESENCE AT THE LOFTS AT NOHO COMMONS.

The purpose of this petition is to establish a permanent 24-hour security presence at The Lofts at Noho Commons, in North Hollywood, California 91601.

Due to the increasing number of criminal activity, I ask for our fellow residents to consider the placement of a minimum of one Security Officer at the Chandler Boulevard entrance located at 11136 Chandler Boulevard, one Security Officer at the Weddington Street entrance located at 11135 Weddington Street, one Security Officer in the parking structure, and one roaming Security Officer 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

Due to failed attempts by resident’s requests for the above mentioned, as of July 26, 2008, there has been an armed robbery, an assault, and several cases of theft and vandalism to resident’s vehicles and property. Everything that has happened here could have been avoided. It is a matter of time before there is an altercation or loss of life, due to negligence by the property owners.

A copy of this petition will be forwarded to the owners of the property at Redrock Partners, Inc. once signatures have been collected.

If there is no satisfactory resolution found by the residents by the property owners within 45 days of this posting, a copy of the signed petition, as well as a letter explaining the ever increasing irresponsibility by the owners, for the safety of the children, their families, and the other residents will be sent to Councilman Tom LaBonge, for Los Angeles Council District 4, Captain Sharyn I. Buck, Area Commanding Officer, North Hollywood Community Police Station, the Executive Board and the Board of Directors of the North Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, Russ Stanton, Editor, and John Arthur, Executive Editor of the Los Angeles Times, and Laurie Ochoa, Editor in Chief of the LA Weekly.
